Nemo III (Jay)

International Small Tour Champions at Fry's CDI 2006

The first horse Lisa trained to Grand Prix:

  • 12 years old
  • Owned by Lindsey Roberts
  • Dutch bay gelding of unknown breeding
  • Trained by Lisa from Autumn 2003 until his tragic death in November 2007
  • International Grand Prix Horse

Lisa took on the ride whilst Jay was still at Elementary and had him competing at Prix St Georges within 6 months.

They enjoyed great success at all levels including wins and placings at Premier League and International Small Tour.  They contested their first season at Big Tour in 2007 and had already enjoyed placings at the National Championships and at Internationals at this level.

Sadly, he never lived to realise his full potential.

With an ironic twist of fate, the week he died he and Lisa had been promoted within World Class because they were expected to take a Team GB place in 2008.

This was a tragic and devastating loss for Lisa and the team. He was a charming horse who always gave 110% and is greatly missed.
